David Brock explains

This quote came from Brock's latest editorial in the times. Whether or not the statement actually holds any truth isn't what intrigued me. It's the fact that this fellow has the moral clarity to be able to tell the rest of society how things are. It's an odd combination of a blindered view mixed with a dash of arrogance and a lack of awareness of anything but his own experience that yields such an amazing view.

In a single sentence, we end up with a concise example of what's wrong with Brock and his ilk.

Anybody who has several sexual partners in a year is committing spiritual suicide. He or she is ripping the veil from all that is private and delicate in oneself, and pulverizing it in an assembly line of selfish sensations.

I wonder if David Brock also thinks the reason that dogs drink out of toilet bowls is because the water is so cold in them (and knows that too from experience).
